The Colorado Connection
Believe it or not BUT the world is a really small place. Do you guys remember the American dudes from Colorado I met in Vietnam? It was father (Will) and son (Derek) traveling together for a couple of months through South East Asia and I was lucky enough to meet them in Saigon. We spent marvelous three weeks together taking a bus from Saigon to Hanoi, Halong Bay and Sapa. Anyways, I never heard from them again after we separated in Sapa by the end of February 2005. And there they are again walking the streets of Pai more than one year later. Isn’t that incredible? It was a great coming together again. We basically celebrated our reunion non-stop for a couple of days and went crazy for while. At the end of the day they bought flight tickets for Tibet as well joining Antler and me and I had to promise to visit them in the U.S. the same year.
