My parents come for a visit
Yes, I met my parents again! We had great fun driving cross country from Colorado to California, visited and stayed with my friends Will, Karen and Derek in Colorado at the Rocky Mountains NP, went North to Wyoming to see Yellowstone NP, met Tanja, a high school friend of mine in Salt Lake City. We camped in almost every National Park in Utah and Colorado before we headed to the Grand Canyon in Arizona to meet up with Brandis, yet another very close friend and travel buddy of mine who I met two years ago in Laos and visited last year during my stay in the U.S. Finally in California we showed up in Yosemite NP and other NPs before we pulled in at Antlers’ in San Francisco where we also picked up Renate, my mom's friend from Germany who joined us for three weeks. We also visited relatives of our family, Kurt and Christine who emigrated to the U.S. in the 1950s. After driving 10.000 km (6.300 miles) and after travelling for about 6 weeks with my parents we split up in San Francisco. Shortly after that I went to see my dear friend Bobby in San Jose for some time before I went up North to spend some time camping and visiting other friends.
