15 May 2010, San Blas: Dreamlike islands, white sandy beaches, and a turquoise blue sea
San Blas Archipelago: 365 islands and 1 million coconut trees - the land of the Kunas. I really liked it in the San Blas Islands, spending time with the indeginous people and sailing around the islands with my new friends for several days. Mainland Panama is just OK, I think. I went to Panama City, saw the Miraflores Locks of the Panama Canal, went hiking in Boquete, a U.S. & European retirement town and enjoyed the Caribbean vibe at the islands of Boca del Toro. I took a bus to San Jose, Costa Rica from where I fly via Denver, CO to Seattle, WA, U.S.A.
